Mrs. Ewing’s 5th Grade

School’s in full swing now! We’re 5 days into the new school year, and the beginning of the race to next summer vacation has begun!  Well, let’s not think about how far away summer vacation is.  That’s just depressing.  For that matter, let’s not even think about the fact that our next day off from school is not until (gulp)….September!!!! 

Let’s focus on the positive!!!

1.  A full week under our belt!

2.  2 classes full of truly sweet children that are cheerfully plowing their way through Mrs. Ewing’s “boot camp”

3.  The Paper Airplane Project (or how to learn about the Scientific Method without really trying)  Check out the page!

4.  A glorious field trip coming up!

5.  Finally – playground equipment for the “big kids”.  I’m still waiting my turn on the swings.  Check out the Tether Ball stuff!
